1) Why is SMARTROOMS Licensed and Not Sold?
Ans: SMARTROOMS is a web-based Hotel Room Reservation software. A copy of the SMARTROOMS software is is installed on Our Web-Servers located at a Data-Center and configured under your Hotel's domain name. The web-servers are maintained by Point 2 Point Communications and all costs like annual data center costs, software license fees, bandwidth costs, server backup costs, server maintenance costs, software maintenance costs, etc... are paid by Point 2 Point Communications. Since, these costs are recurring in nature, SMARTROOMS is licensed to the Hotel and the recurring costs are recovered from setup fees, sales commissions, transaction fees and application hosting fees as long as the Hotel uses the SMARTROOMS software.
2) What Do you mean by Transaction Tokens (TTL) License. How does the SMARTROOMS reservation software work under the TTL License? Ans: SMARTROOMS is a room reservation software that is Annually Licensed and Integrated with your Hotel's website and the entire Room Reservation process takes place under your Hotel's Website (Domain name). Under the SMARTROOMS Transaction Tokens Annual License, YOUR hotel can sell UNLIMITED number of rooms Online. There are no transaction fees or commissions. All room bookings made through SMARTROOMS TTL are FREE. The Steps to a successful order have been outlined below:
3) What information do you require from our hotel to integrate smartrooms with our website? Ans: Let us say that your hotel's Website Address is www.smarthotel.com. Here, smarthotel.com is your domain name. OPTION 1 : IF YOU ARE NOT HOSTING YOUR WEBSITE ON OUR WEB-SERVER. STEP 1: We will create a sub-domain, 'bookings.smarthotel.com' on our Web-Server and install the SMARTROOMS software. OPTION 2 : IF YOU ARE HOSTING YOUR WEBSITE ON OUR WEB-SERVER. STEP 1: We will move your website to our Web-Server and change your Domain's Nameservers to point your domain smarthotel.com to our Web-Server. REQUIRED INFORMATION: If you are NOT hosting your website on our web-server, your current hosting company will have to create an A record and your website designer will have to insert the online Reservations Button or Link on your website. We can also help you with this if you allow us access to your Domain Control Panel and provide us with the FTP Username/Password of your hosting account. If you are hosting your website on our web-server, we need access to your Domain Control Panel and the FTP Username/Password of your hosting account to move your website to our servers. NOTE: We host on Linux/Php/Apache/MySQL Web-Servers. Hence, .asp and .net files are not supported on our servers. If your website has .asp and .net files, You will have to choose OPTION 1. ANS: You can change the Currency Prefix ($, £, €)and Suffix (USD, GBP, EUR) easily from the General Configuration Area within the Control Panel. All prices will then be displayed in your local currency.
5) A guest booked multiple rooms and the total booking amount is Rs. 64000. Will we be charged a transaction fee or do we have to pay a commission? ANS: All bookings done through SMARTROOMS TTL Annual License are 100% FREE. 
6) Our Hotel's reservation staff cannot contact the Guest as the contact details provided while booking are fake. How do we cancel the room booking? ANS: We assure 100% Safety for all bookings. If the room booking transaction is not genuine, you can mark the booking transaction as fake and Cancel the booking. Upon Cancellation, the booked room will be cancelled and restored to the Room Inventory.
ANS: Unlike other reservation softwares, SMARTROOMS Transaction Tokens License is integrated with your Hotel's website. A copy of the entire software is installed and configured under your Hotel's domain name. As this process requires additional effort and time; we do not offer a free trial under your Hotel's website domain name. Please choose the third option i.e "I will update my nameservers on an existing domain / I will create an A record bookings.mydomain.com"and enter your hotels website address e.g myhotel.com 5) The Billing Cycle amount i.e the amount payable is shown to you. 6a) You get UNLIMITED Transaction Tokens Free with your order. 6b) If you wish to order customisation, Click on the check-box in front of "Customisation Fee* For Transaction Tokens License within Addons. 7) Read The "Master Subscription Agreement" and click on "Proceed Ahead With The Order". 8) Click on Checkout. 9) Enter your personal details and select the mode of payment.
